Job definition

As Sales Director you will be responsible for all commercial and organizational activities of the CPX business unit. You will further build success by focusing on market growth, organizational development, and process and product optimization. In this role, you will manage all European Sales Managers, closely monitor market developments, and translate them into strategic and commercial plans. You ensure that the team reaches a higher level of knowledge and skill and optimize the sales approach with a focus on consultative selling. Additionally, you actively build and maintain existing relationships while developing potential customer relations. You report to the Managing Director of CPX and are part of the Management Team.
 
Tasks and responsibilities:
 
  • Contribute to both top-line and bottom-line results of CPX;
  • Play a role in determining the strategic direction, go-to-market strategy, and product-market combinations;
  • Contribute to long-term planning, annual budgeting, and rolling forecasts in line with Enstall's policies;
  • Lead the commercial team and take responsibility for organizational development, structure, and processes;
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders for the growth of (inter)national key accounts;
  • Stimulate lead generation, develop opportunities, negotiate and close customer contracts;
  • Engage and influence key stakeholders in the industry;
  • Lead the sales team and manage the post-sales process;
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the market environment, identify market requirements, and support product management in the development of relevant business cases.
 
 

Job qualifications

CPX is a tight-knit organization, and for this rapidly growing startup, we are seeking an experienced Sales Director with a proven track record in a similar work environment and market. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, leadership, and extensive market knowledge to promote the growth and efficiency of CPX in the European market. You are an entrepreneurial leader with a strong drive and a strategic, yet pragmatic mindset. It's a plus if you have a network not only among project developers in the industry but also with other stakeholders such as investors.
 
Additionally, as a Sales Director, you have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a commercial and/or technical field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a broad (commercial) director position;
  • Experience in Direct and Indirect Sales for installers or a similar industry;
  • A track record in integrating organizations, optimizing (work) processes, and building successful teams;
  • Strong affinity for technical applications contributing to the energy transition.
