What You'll Do

As a Senior Demand Planner, working within the Sales Operations at IronRidge, you will be responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products. The Senior Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast models for customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Product Line Management, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and other external sources.

  • Develop demand forecasts at various levels of aggregation and across multiple time horizons as part of the demand planning function.
  • Analyze historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare and maintain forecast data, build statistical forecast models, and assess forecast accuracy.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to reconcile significant variances and adjust forecast models based on updated sales, marketing, and operational assumptions.
  • Formulate the capacity-constrained build plan by comprehensively understanding manufacturing lead times, transit durations, and inputs affecting capacity.
  • Contribute to the Supply Planning team by providing insights on inventory strategies for existing products, new product introductions, and product phase-outs.
  • Conduct scenario planning to evaluate different demand and supply scenarios, clearly articulating options and their potential impact.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement short- and long-term demand plans that align with financial and operational objectives.
  • Define and monitor forecast key performance indicators (KPIs), track forecast performance, and implement strategies to continuously improve accuracy and efficiency.

What You'll Bring

  • BA/BS college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years’ experience as a demand planner in a products company
  • APICS or other forecasting Certification preferred
  • Familiarity with advanced inventory planning tools such as Slimstock
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management tools such as Salesforce
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Travel Frequency – Infrequent (2-3 trips a year)
  • Commitment to the mission of Enstall

Where You'll Be Located

This is a hybrid position (2 days/week in the office, or more when business needs dictate) and will be based in our Hayward, California office. Consideration may be given to candidates who can report to one of Enstall's other offices, located in North Andover, MA or Phoenix/Tempe AZ.

What We’ll Offer

We offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, education and location. We anticipate the base salary for this position to be between $92,000 and $114,000/annually, if located in the San Francisco Bay Area market. In addition to base salary, Enstall employees are eligible for either an annual bonus or commission, depending on their position. If your desired salary falls outside of these rates, we hope you'll still apply as there may be other positions that better align.
