Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data models and new ways to analyze data. Analyze the data and bring new insights to the business;
- Add value to the business with reports and dashboards that provide insights. Make suggestions on improvements;
- Train and develop business power users, capable of creating basic reports and dashboards themselves, allowing you to focus on development and more complex use cases;
- Participate in project planning sessions with project teams, providing insights and recommendations to meet business needs through the effective use of data;
- Monitoring data (dashboard) from all marketing channels such as Google Analytics, followers on social media, and other sources;
- Ensure all data strategies and implementations align with company policies, IT standards, and regulatory compliance.
As BI Analyst you will be part of the IS team with about 9 colleagues and report to the Data Manager. This is a position for 32-40 hours per week based in Deventer.
Job qualifications
- A completed HBO education;
- Minimum 3-5 years work experience in a similar role;
- Extensive knowledge about Power BI, Fabric, Power apps.etc.;
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g. Python);
- Experience with Databases and SQL is preferred;
- You take initiative and are bold, active and positive;
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English language both verbally and in writing;
- You are a skilled communicator able to inspire and create enthusiasm.
- You enjoy working as part of a team;
- You are communicative and creative;
- You are detail-oriented;
- You have strong problem-solving skills;
- You are a real go-getter and bring humor with you.
